The $5 gold Maple Leaf is Canada’s 1/10 ounce bullion gold coin. Roughly the size of a dime, the obverse features King Charles III, and the nominal face value of $5. The reverse features the Maple Leaf and the troy weight. The Maple is minted in 99.99% pure gold and was lately updated to include rays emanating from the center of the coin; one of the RCM’s many anti-counterfeiting features.
