The coin portrays an image of a kangaroo and its joey in scrubland. included in the design are radial lines suggestive of the setting sun, and the Perth Mints ‘P’ mintmark.
The coin bears The Queen Elizabeth II Memorial Obverse, featuring the Jody Clark effigy supplemented with the dates of Her Majesty’s reign. As well as radial lines, the obverse also includes the coin’s weight, purity, monetary denomination and 2023 year-date.
