2022 1/2 Ounce Gold American Eagle

The 1/2 troy ounce 2022 gold Eagle is one of the U.S. Mint’s yearly Eagle fractional gold bullion coins. The obverse showcases Saint Gaudens’ Lady Liberty along with the year. The reverse of the 2022 displays the new eagle profile designed by Jennie Norris, the coin’s troy weight, and nominal face value of $25. While containing a full 1/2 troy ounce of gold, the Eagle weighs a bit more than 1/2 troy ounce, as it is minted with the traditional U.S. gold alloy of 91.67% gold, with the remaining mix in copper and silver.
