2018 1/10 Ounce Gold Canadian Polar Bear

The $5 gold Polar Bear is a 1/10 ounce bullion coin minted by the Royal Canadian Mint (RCM). Roughly the size of a dime, the obverse features Queen Elizabeth II along with the nominal face value of $5. The reverse features the mintage year of 2018, a Polar Bear, and the troy weight. This coin is minted in 99.99% pure gold, and was recently updated to include rays emanating from the center of the coin; one of the RCM’s many anti-counterfeiting features.
