• The word “Liberty” is inscribed at the top, and the coin's mintage year appears at the bottom.
Reverse:
• Depicts a majestic bald eagle soaring above a rising sun, symbolizing the strength and freedom of the United States.
• Inscriptions include “United States of America,” “Twenty Dollars,” and, on later issues, “In God We Trust.”
