General Overview
• Although some historic U.S. gold coins survived the federal government’s 1930s recall and melt campaign, the remaining quantity is extremely limited.
• These Pre-1933 $5 Liberty Gold Half Eagles are prized by investors, collectors, and history lovers alike for their rarity and timeless design.
• Struck from 1839 to 1908, the series saw contributions from multiple U.S. Mint locations, including Philadelphia, San Francisco, Carson City, New Orleans, Denver, Dahlonega, and Charlotte.
• Offered here in Extra Fine (XF) condition, showcasing lightly worn surfaces with most design details still sharp and visible.

Coin Highlights
• Contains .2418 Troy oz of .900 fine gold.
• Bears a $5 USD face value backed by the U.S. government.
• Designed by Christian Gobrecht.
• Available in Extra Fine (XF) condition.
• Ships individually in protective plastic flips.
• Minted between 1839 and 1908; year and mint mark will vary.
